“We have come to visit President SOSSA as part of the exchange of legal cooperation between the Constitutional Court of Benin and the electoral constitutional section of the Union of the Comoros. The electoral process has already begun in our country. Now we are in the deployment phase of the candidatures for the elections of Members, i.e. the candidacies are open from 1 November until the next 10. After 10 November, this is the phase of the appeal procedure on the provisional lists and then we will return the final lists before the election campaign. We have discussed all this with the President of the Constitutional Court of Benin, especially with regard to the settlement of appeals, and we are very pleased with the replies received on this issue. We believe that, with the advice received, the elections will take place in an atmosphere of calm, serenity as we wish, without violence, without damage,” said the press, Mr. Rafiki Mohamed at the end of the audience of the delegation.
